Or Arthur Honig was an Associate Professor of International Relations at Tokyo International University (2018-2023). Before joining TIU, Dr. Honig was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science at Duke University (2017-2018). Previously, he was a Lecturer (equivalent to US Assistant Professor) of Political Science at Tel Aviv University (2011-2017). Prior to that he was the J. L. Granatstein Postdoctoral Fellow in the Centre for Military & Strategic Studies at the University of Calgary (2009-2011). He studies counter-terrorism tools, dictators’ foreign policies, propaganda, intelligence and US foreign policy especially in the Middle East. He has published 23 journal articles and 3 book chapters. Dr. Honig received his doctorate in political science from UCLA, master’s degrees in political science from both UCLA and the Hebrew University, and bachelor’s degree in Middle East History with honors from Haifa University.
