Prof. Ordaniel received a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (Kakenhi) grant to conduct research on maritime security issues in Asia. Prof. Ordaniel’s Maritime Security Research Lab at Tokyo International University will explore the intersection of international law and international security in the region’s maritime affairs.
