Prof. Sojin Shin leads delegation of IR @ TIU students to Indian Embassy Event

Professor Sojin Shin visited the Embassy of India Tokyo with our students to attend the ICCR Foundation Day event. The TIU delegation had an opportunity to learn Indian culture through the yoga and the Odissi dance performance the Embassy provided, followed by a brief meeting with India’s ambassador to Japan, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Verma, and Director of Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Professor Siddharth Singh. Professor Shin expects further opportunities for TIU students to learn India’s society, culture, and politics through various programs the Embassy of India Tokyo provides in the coming semesters. She also brought E-track students to the Embassy in October 2019 and had an interactive session with Ambassador Verma on India’s domestic politics and international relations.
