Adrien Schifano is since 2023 an associate professor at the Institute for International Strategy of Tokyo International University (Tokyo, Japan), where he teaches courses in International Law and Organization. He holds a Ph.D in Law issued by Hitotsubashi University. His doctoral thesis explored consequential aspects of an international personality of international organizations over the international legal order and the fragmentation that ensues. His main area of interest is international organizations from the perspective of law and politics, with a focus on Asia. He has published in the International Organizations Law Review, the Chinese Journal of International Law and the Revue Générale de Droit International Public, and presented papers at
conferences both home and abroad.
